Cinema Under the Stars is returning to Lismore for its 8th time due to popular demand! This free event will be held at Goonellabah’s Hepburn Park on Saturday, 7 November and will feature family-favourite, Home, rated PG.
The event is organised by Newcastle Permanent, CEO Terry Millett said the free community event was one of the ways they like to give back to the local community.
“For more than eight years Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars has been helping to bring families and communities together by providing free outdoor events across regional NSW. Our 8th event in Lismore is expected to attract 3,500 people,” Mr Millett said.
“Each year Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars events delight thousands of people with a unique opportunity to enjoy a night of free, family-friendly entertainment in some of the most beautiful parks the Northern Rivers has to offer,” he said.
This summer’s Cinema Under the Stars program is the biggest yet, travelling to 16 locations across Northern NSW providing an evening of free, family-friendly entertainment including a blockbuster movie, local entertainers and kid’s activities.

Guests are encouraged to bring a picnic and experience the magical atmosphere of watching a popular family film in the great outdoors. Food and non-alcoholic drinks are also available for purchase at the park. Everyone is welcome and entry is free.
