Lismore LEP Under Discussion

A series of public forums to discuss proposed changes to Lismore’s Local Environment Plan (LEP) began last night.
Six briefings will be held over the next fortnight to discuss various aspects of the plan.
Lismore City Council’s Steve Denize says 1,400 public submissions were received when the original draft was put on display.
Mr Denize says most were about the rural two zoning.
He says it is not yet clear if more public input will be accepted.
“That’s going to be decided at the formal council meeting,” he said.
