Enova Community Energy Ltd is hosting a series of information events throughout the Northern Rivers this month where they will be making available share offer documentation including a detailed prospectus for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
They are offering the local community a unique opportunity to participate in building Australia’s first community owned renewable energy retailing and installation business. As a social enterprise, Enova Energy is being formed by local residents of the Northern Rivers region to focus on delivering environmental and community benefits as well as making returns to community investors.
Announcing the series of launch events, Enova Community Energy Chair, Alison Crook AO, said: “We are very excited about the upcoming IPO and providing potential investors the opportunity to attend these events. We want the community to to find out more, and get involved in building Australia’s first community renewable energy retailer.“ Alison further added, “our goal is to reduce carbon emissions by retailing renewable energy by encouraging and facilitating the development of local renewable generation. We aim to be a model for other communities in developing a renewable energy future“.
