Aussie icon Tash Sultana will return to Bluesfest to help celebrate its 30th Anniversary over Easter.

Other ‘must-see’ acts on the festival’s latest artist announcement, released today, include: New Zealand five-piece SIX60, Sydney surf rockers Ocean Alley, together with Melbourne-based Latin band Amaru Tribe.

They join an already impressive line-up, including: Jack Johnson, Iggy Pop, Hozier, Norah Jones, George Clinton, Meshell Ndegeocello, Arlo Guthrie, and The Black Sorrows.

Tash recently took home an ARIA award for Blues and Roots Album of the Year with Flow State, which also topped charts in multiple countries.

Since releasing their debut album in 2011, SIX60 have received multiple accolades in New Zealand and continue to be the highest selling artist ever in their home country! Twelve singles have gone platinum or better and both their albums are quadruple platinum.

After a string of sell out shows in the US and Europe, Ocean Alley continue to captivate audiences with their infectious melody lines and memorable blend of psychedelic-surf-rock. March 2018 saw the release of their acclaimed second album Chiaroscuro, which has gone on to amass over 18 million streams worldwide.

Amaru Tribe is a unique collective of Melbourne-based artists from Australia, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Venezuela. They’re led by Oscar Jimenez and Katherine Gailer, a talented couple who began to share the stage to sing their migrant stories together.
