Rudd in Lismore for Health Talks

The Prime Minister visits Lismore today as part of his national tour to discuss health services.

About 60 local health professionals will meet Kevin Rudd at the Northern Rivers University of Rural Health.

The federal Member for Page, Janelle Saffin, says she has worked hard to secure the PM’s visit and to ensure the north coast was included in the consultations.

“The Prime Minister has been leading consultations in major metropolitan and regional hospitals and I said, ‘Kevin, we have one here in Page, it’s in Lismore Base Hospital, I want you to come here and do it’, and he said yes and’ I am quite excited’,” she said.
