Flood Warning for Northern Rivers

A warning of flash flooding has been issued for people in the Northern Rivers and the mid-north coast.

The Bureau of Meterology’s Ellie Sparks says the warning is likely to stay in place until the weekend.

“There’s going to be continued periods of rain and possible thunderstorms again this afternoon,” she said.

“It’s likely that – some locations at least – that’s going to lead to an accumulation of rainfall and further flash flooding.”
